“Heath was awesome to work with — very helpful, patient, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Both trainings were well done and full of good tips and techniques. You can tell Heath knows his stuff and really cares about teaching it the right way.”
“HUGE shout out to All Feathers Taxidermy! His tutorial videos provided clear, step-by-step instructions that made a complicated process much more simple. He covers everything—from specific supplies to measurements. 10/10 recommend watching his tutorials first!”
“All Feathers Taxidermy feather board tutorials were excellent! His step-by-step guidance was great and easy to follow along. With the help of his videos, I was able to attempt and complete my first project. If you are thinking about purchasing his tutorials - do it!”
“I purchased the waterfowl tutorial after running across All Feathers on social media. I'm a pretty avid waterfowler, but not really a guy who would ever get anything mounted. Not long after getting the tutorial I had an epic day hunting with my son and a friend, where we knocked out a mixed bag limit of mallards, wigeon, and pintails. I made this wall hanging to give him for Christmas from the birds we got that day, using the tutorials as a guide and some old wood from the yard for the frame. This was my first feather art project. Tutorials are super helpful, and it has been great to be able to ask questions along the way — he's super responsive once you've ponied up for the education. I love this technique as an alternative to mounted birds as a way to remember cool hunts and display the awesome variety of these birds!”
If you're brand new, Diamond Turkey is the most popular starting point — it teaches the signature technique the whole catalog builds on. If you already have a bird in hand, jump straight to the species module that matches (Waterfowl, Pheasant, etc.).
Beginner-friendly. No prior taxidermy, art, or craft background needed — the modules assume you're starting from zero. Experienced artists will still pick up feather-specific techniques that don't transfer from traditional mounting.
Each module lists the exact tools and materials you'll need. The common kit across modules is a craft knife, fabric glue, needle-nose tweezers, a backing board, and a frame.
Most pieces built from our modules can be completed in a weekend, allowing for drying time. More intricate builds like the Double Wing or Open Wing Waterfowl may take a few evenings spread across a week.
After checkout, Shopify sends you a login link to our Thinkific course portal. Stream on desktop, tablet, or phone — any device, anytime. Lifetime access, no subscription.
HD streaming via Thinkific. The player works on desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers. Videos are not downloadable — they stay on the platform so we can push improvements and re-recordings over time.
Yes to both. Once you purchase, the module is yours forever on Thinkific. If we re-record a section or add bonus material to an existing module, existing buyers get the updates for free.
Yes — and this is one of the biggest wins of the tutorials. Mallard techniques transfer to wood ducks, teal, gadwall, and pintails. Diamond Turkey methods adapt to ocellated and wild-bred turkey species. The core principles carry, even when the anatomy shifts.
Each module walks through prep for its specific species. If you want broader prep guidance — or you're shipping a bird to us for a custom piece — see our Shipping & Prep page for species-by-species instructions.
Yes. Students can send questions via the contact form and we respond personally. For deeper help, we run live 1-on-1 mentoring sessions (in-person in Michigan or online via FaceTime) — see our Training page for details.
Refund terms are handled through Shopify at checkout. If you're not sure a module is the right fit, reach out via the contact form first and we'll help you figure out which tutorial matches your skill level and bird.
