Common Questions

What's the difference between in-person and online training?

In-person training in Michigan gives you hands-on, tactile correction in real time — you'll work on a specimen we provide and take your finished piece home. Online training is a focused FaceTime session, ideal for critiquing a specific bird or grooming technique you're working on in your own shop.

How long does an in-person training session last?

Plan on a full day of instruction. We walk through the complete process from prep to final grooming. Lunch is provided.

Do I need to bring my own bird?

No. In-person training includes a specimen for you to work on, plus all the tools, forms, and preservatives you'll need. If you want to work on your own bird instead, let us know when booking.

Is online training live, or pre-recorded?

It's live 1-on-1 via FaceTime. You'll get direct feedback and can ask questions as you go. Sessions are scheduled around your availability.

Can I book online training after I've watched the tutorials?

Yes — that's actually the most common use. The tutorials give you the foundation, and online training is perfect for follow-up support when you hit a specific challenge.

Ready to Level Up?

In-person training is limited to a handful of students each year, and online sessions book out a few weeks in advance. If you're ready to commit to the craft, let's talk.
